Winter Concert for O

Today was the Winter (or as I like to call it CHRISTMAS !!) Concert for Miss O. As usual, half the songs were not in English (big frowny face) and the other half were done on the horrible instruments that leave you with a massive headache and desire to run screaming from the gym!! While it is fun for the kids - at least I think it is... if the kids were not so darn cute - it would be considered torture!! I still love the heck outta my sweet little girl - but man oh man I need an Advil! :)

Happy Holidays!!

A big First Grader!

Today, Miss O started FIRST GRADE! Wow - it seemed like just yesterday she was learning to talk! :)

She is excited to be going to school all day long! What in the world am I going to do with my days now???? It was a tear jerker leaving her the first day!

*!Preschool Graduation!*

Today was Miss O's last day of regular preschool (still has two more weeks of OT/ST preschool)! She was happy to do her little program and dress up... but very very sad to no longer go to her "new" school.

Above she is with her best preschool friend, Josie. The two of them get along so great because they can be really quiet.... We are so proud of how far she has come with her "new" school in just 8 months... quite the accomplishments!

It is sooooo quiet here because....

All dressed up for the first day in her favorite "horn" (unicorn) shirt and new sparkly pink shoes!
Getting off the bus coming home - complete with Tinkerbell backpack!
She was busy yelling "gank hu" (thank you) and "bye" to the bus driver!

My little Princess had her first day of pre-school today AND she rode the BUS! She did really real at the beginning and was so excited, that is until she realized that "I" was not riding the bus with her! Poor thing! She started to cry and rock... it was hard, but I knew that she would calm down once she and the bus were out of site! She waved and blew kisses through the window while heading down the driveway! Her bus driver called me a few minutes later to let me know that the crying had stopped and she was "chattering" away looking out the window!

On the way home from school, her bus driver told me that she fell asleep! Miss O was wide awake when the bus pulled up to the house! She was all smiles and full of hugs for me! She was very happy to go back to school and see her teachers! But, I think that overall, her highlight today was the bus!
